Clint Barkdoll is a Waynesboro native with a diverse background of legal experiences. His practice has included criminal defense, divorce, child custody, domestic relations support matters, corporations, wills and estates, real estate, municipal law, and a variety of other civil areas.
Clint has been a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association since 1998. Throughout his career, he has appeared in common pleas courts throughout south central Pennsylvania, including representation of defendants in jury trials. He has also represented clients in various special courts, including unemployment compensation appeals, election boards, tax appeal boards, municipal boards, and investigating grand juries.
Clint has argued appeals before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Pennsylvania Superior Court, and the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court. Clint’s appellate work has resulted in published opinions regarding areas of bail bonding, child support, unemployment compensation, DUI arrests, and several other substantive areas of law.
Over the years, Clint has served on numerous charitable boards throughout Franklin County. Clint has served as president of various boards, including: the Franklin County Bar Association, Greater Waynesboro Area Chamber of Commerce, Alexander Hamilton Memorial Free Library, Nicodemus Center for Ceramic Studies, Franklin County Legal Services, and the Waynesboro Beneficial Fund.
Clint is a member of the Sons of the American Legion – Squadron 15, Waynesboro. He belongs to Acacia Lodge #586, Waynesboro, where he serves as a trustee. Clint was formerly a member of Waynesboro Borough Council. He continues to serve on several community boards and committees.
Clint is the solicitor for the Franklin County Treasurer, Franklin County Sheriff, Franklin County Coroner, and the Waynesboro Zoning Hearing Board. He serves as the solicitor for a number of charitable and fraternal organizations throughout Franklin County.
Since 2009, Clint has been an adjunct professor in the Department of Business & Economics at Wilson College (Chambersburg), PA, where he teaches both undergraduate and graduate level courses.
Prior to practicing law in Waynesboro, Clint worked for several years in Washington D.C. as a news reporter for Dow Jones & Co.
In addition to being a partner with the law firm, Clint is a partner/title agent with Center Square Real Estate Settlement Services, Inc. He has conducted thousands of real estate closings, ranging from residential to large commercial transactions. Clint is also a partner with the Franklin County Dispute Resolution Center, Ltd.
